This Cookie Policy explains how StyleMatch (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our websites and mobile experiences (the “Services”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more broadly.

We also use related technologies such as local storage and pixels; for simplicity we refer to them collectively as “cookies” throughout this policy.

• Keep you signed in to your StyleMatch account.
• Remember preferences such as your selected theme (light or dark) and recent searches.
• Protect the platform against fraud, abuse, and security threats.
• Understand how the Services are used so we can improve them.
• Power features that depend on session continuity, such as multi-step onboarding and bookings.

The cookies we use generally fall into one of the following categories. Some are essential and cannot be turned off; others are optional and depend on your consent where applicable law requires it.

• Strictly necessary. Required for the Services to function — for example, authentication, session continuity, and security. The platform will not work without them.
• Preferences. Remember choices you make, such as your theme and language. These improve your experience but are not essential.
• Analytics. Help us understand how visitors interact with the Services so we can prioritise improvements. Where required by law, these are only set with your consent.
• Marketing. If we run any marketing campaigns, these cookies help us measure their effectiveness. We do not currently use marketing cookies for cross-site advertising.

First-party cookies are set by StyleMatch directly. Third-party cookies are set by services we rely on to operate the platform — for example, our hosting and analytics providers, our email delivery provider, and our image storage provider. These third parties process the data they receive under their own privacy and cookie policies, and we choose providers that meet appropriate standards.

Cookies have different lifespans:

• Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
• Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them. We use these for things like remembering you between visits and storing preferences.

Where applicable law requires it, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choices at any time.
